Human Resources Department

The Human Resources is a department within the Administrative Services Department. The Human Resources Department provides centralized human resources functions, including recruitment, classification, benefit administration, training, employee relations, improving HR policies, processes, practices, maintenance of employee records and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Retirement:

  • The current employee deposit rate is 5% and the City’s matching ratio is 1.5 to 1
  • Supplemental Death Benefits-Active Employees and Retirees- 1 times annual salary working/when retired $7,500
